Dear Aspire Community, Today the provincial government has announced plans for a province-wide lockdown starting on Boxing day. As of Thursday, December 24th, at 4:30pm Aspire Milton will be TEMPORARILY closed until a new reopening framework is announced in the new year. This is sad news for many of us. Our staff has worked tirelessly to keep our doors open and provide a safe and healthy space for our community. We appreciate everyone's support as we adapted to all the changi...ng measures and protocols. These are difficult times and this next stretch will be even tougher, but we're optimistic because we know our community is strong. Let's continue to work together and follow the public health guidelines during this extended winter break. To Our Community, Following the latest update from Halton Region's Control Level Red framework, we will be reducing our capacity to 10 people at a time starting Monday, December 7th. These changes come at a difficult time for many local small businesses, and we're not excluded. Since the onset of COVID19, we have placed priority on the health and safety of our staff and community, but not without great impact from significantly reduced income. We appreciate everyone's suppor...t, understanding and participation as we continue to adjust based on public health guidelines. As we move into this new phase of limited capacity, we will be making the following changes: Current bookings from Monday onward have been cancelled and notified by email of these changes. New bookable timeslots will be 1.5hrs for the full facility, zones will not be required. A maximum of 3 bookings will be allowed per customer per week. Back-to-back bookings will not be accepted. All active memberships will be placed on hold as of Monday. We want to ensure that members receive the value of their purchase so they will have the choice to resume their memberships upon revisiting. Visitors will be given 3 options upon booking: 1) Pay per visit $17.70 +tax 2) Use your membership (or purchase one) 3) Use your punch card (or purchase one) January registrations for programs may be pushed to later start dates. Parents will be contacted with further updates as the situation evolves and information is provided by the government. These are challenging times for many small businesses and families. We prioritize the need to keep climbing and ninja accessible for health, fitness, social connection and mental health. We are committed to doing everything we can to keep our doors open with up-to-date safety protocols in this ever-evolving situation. IMPORTANT NOTICE Bronte St. N., between Victoria St and CP Rail will be temporarily closed between Monday, Oct 19th to Sunday, November 8th to complete sewer construction. BUT WE ARE OPEN! This portion of of Bronte St. N. will be closed to traffic so there will be no access from the north (across the tracks) via Steeles Ave, but the parking lot is still accessible from the south. COVID UPDATE - Monday, Oct 5, 2020 As COVID19 cases in Ontario rise, health experts and government officials have made it clear that we are now in a second wave. We have come a long way at Aspire since our reopening, and we've continued to monitor and adjust based on community behaviour and guidelines for public health set by the Region of Halton. As COVID19 increases, we must take a temporary step back and tighten restrictions to help reduce the spread within our community.... Masks are Mandatory - Without Exceptions While we operate during this second wave, masks are now mandatory at all times. Similar to our no shirt and no bare feet policy, all members and guests must wear masks, even while participating in activities. If you do not feel comfortable wearing a mask, please stay home until a time when we can safely ease this restriction. Online Bookings are Back To assist with managing the facility capacity, we are bringing back online bookings for evenings and weekends. Members and guests may book 2 weeks in advance. Please visit our website to manage your bookings. As we ride out this second wave, we ask that everyone do their part to keep our community safe.
