We’ve loaded multiple vehicles with over 50 kennels and we’re well on our way! Our goal is to save as many dogs as we can from the horrific fate of the culls. ...Berens river and Bloodvein dogs: Your new life awaits! Lives without hunger, pain or the fear of being killed! Hold on sweet dogs, WE’RE COMING FOR YOU!!!! Thank you to everyone who has supported our mass rescue thus far! A big thanks to all the amazing volunteers going out today as well as Dave Brooker and Sarah Saintsbury for donating large moving vans allowing us to rescue even more dogs! If you’d like to contribute to this mass effort please etransfer [email protected] or donate directly to Plessis at (204)691-8838. Our vet bill is currently at $8,000 and we have over 50 more dogs coming in today! We greatly need and appreciate all the help we receive! It truly takes a village! But these dogs are so worth it

Our current outstanding balance at Plessis Veterinary Hospital is $8,391.76; our invoices are attached. We realize that planning a large scale rescue for Tuesda...y is a huge undertaking; especially with our vet bill already so high. But these are extenuating emergency circumstances, a dog cull has been planned, so we have to find a way to make it happen. We have 60 dogs coming in on Tuesday that will all need vetting (and we have this outstanding balance). If you can make any donation towards our vet account we would be forever grateful. Donations can be made in person at Plessis Vet or over the phone to them at 204-691-8838. We also have etransfer [email protected] or a GoFundMe page to donate. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to help support us and these amazing dogs in need. https://www.gofundme.com/f/qzjkp-fostering-hope

If it's too hot for my feet then it's too hot for Louie's feet! Please keep in mind folks that we have soled shoes to protect the bottoms of our feet, dogs don'...t. This heat can easily burn their pads! Please don't walk your dogs on the pavement in the sun in the middle of the day in this heat! This as just walking from my car to Louie's front door and I couldn't handle the heat on my feet! See more
