Beast whole animal dinners. You pick the animal, reserve the date and we prepare a multiple course meal for you and your friends using all of the BEAST. If you’d like to book a whole animal dinner, please do so by calling the restaurant. Here are any details that you might need to know. We allow one animal per table and we can only book one whole animal dinner per night. You, the client get to choose one of the animals below and we will create a 6-course (5 savoury, 1 de...ssert) tasting menu using a different part of the animal for each course. In order to book, we require 1 full week’s notice and we charge for the food portion of the dinner up front. This will act as a credit towards your bill on the night of your dinner. Purchasing a whole animal dinner experience is non-refundable. The prices below include the food part of the tasting menu. HST, 20% gratuity and beverages are extra. We do offer wine pairings for an additional charge as well. Please allow 2 1/2 to 3 hours for the dinner. Upon booking please inform us of any allergies or strong dislikes that you or your guests may have. $100 per person- lamb, goat, rabbit, duck, chicken, squab, pig, wild boar. $120 per person- cow, venison, elk, bison. Vinyes Celler Cesca Vicent Vins DOQ Priorat Gratallops Grenache, Merlot, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah (organic) It is a fresh aromatic wine with lots of fruit. 2015 Fonzone, Irpinia Aglianico DOC VINIFICATION: the grapes are harvested by hand and placed in perforated boxes, rushed to the nearby wine cellar and meticulously de-stemmed. The must is fermented and briefly macerated in stainless steel tanks. It is aged in steel and minimally in barrel of second and third step, for a total of ten months. CHARACTERISTICS: the color is ruby red with purple hues. It is characterized by an intense aroma of violets, dried rose, red fruits, bla...ck cherry and typical herbaceous varietal notes. The taste is concentrated, soft, with a pleasantly long and spicy final. Terre Siciliane, in Ispica (RG) in the Val di Noto area Pedoclimate: Medium structure highly calcareous soil with excellent structure Vineyard: Ha 3,5 Contrada San Basilio Varietals: Nero d’Avola and small percentages of other local varietals (Surra, Pignatieddu, Nzolia, Muscatedda, Niururuossu) Growing method: Free standing bush and vertical trellis with spur pruned cordon... Vinification: Grapes are hand-picked, then after destemming and crushing, must is fermented on skins for a maximum of 48 hours, a traditional method in the Vald di Noto area (in Sicilian known as 'quarantuotturi'). A soft press fractions, then use of its own yeast. Aging: Short period of time in french oak barrels (3 months third use barriques ) and at least 8 months in bottles. 2017 MARSANNE VIOGNIER BEAMSVILLE BENCH At Kew Vineyards we pride ourselves on our unique vineyard, which include some of the oldest vines in Ontario. However, nothing is more special, in our opinion, than our Marsanne and Roussanne vines, which continue to thrive, despite our cool climate and the challenges it presents.... On the nose, notes of lemon and grilled pineapple are complemented by undertones of orange blossom, deepening into sweet vanilla extract and a touch of macadamia nut. With a lean acidic backbone, pineapple and citrus remain bright and structured on the palate.
