Inspiration fills me when I get cozy at my favourite Starbucks to write my book, 'Beingness'. Tonight I am writing a chapter which is a true story about my amaz...ing father, Elmer Anderson, who was crushed by a tree while at work logging in Northern B.C., Canada. He was 23-years-old and I wasn't born yet. Those of you who know him, have seen his challenging journey and how he has persevered with a broken back held together by foot long titanium rods and thick screws. He has had many 13-hour surgeries to replace the metal, each taking a year of recovery time at home learning to walk again. His positive attitude has been his saving grace. He is almost 82 now and manages to do so much including hobby woodworking and growing beautiful fruit and vegetables in his back yard in West Kelowna. This Inspiring story is a testament to my dad and my mom, his caregiver. They have been married for over 62 years and they know what it takes to rise from a tragedy. They truly are a blessing and I am grateful for their strength together.

This video is definitely about 'Beingness". It's about coming from that place of unconditional love. As one lady commented: "This darling boy could teach the world so much just by being himself."
