Fri Nov 2: Rhizoma!!! The *GRAND FINALE* closing event to send off Black Rock Coffee appropriately on Dia de los Muertos! We will be decking the space out with psychedelic lighting (curated by Antonio Carito), a live exploratory musical jam (hosted by Adam Bagat), art station, collaborative Dia de Los Muertos altar, projected media (provided by the elusive Sasha Roustabout Jones), and of course mystical, playful, eminently danceable CUMBIA DJ'd by Paul Ciuk (Dauri Cems) until the LATE hours. Bring your lovely bodies, souls, musical instruments, friends, and offerings to the altar, and to this hallowed space, for one final magical swan song. We could not be more excited to spend these last days with you, and plant seeds for a bright future!

Hello Patrons of Black Rock, We would like to put out a formal public announcement that Tuesday, November 13th will officially be the last operational date for Black Rock Coffee. After several years of operation, the coffee shop that weve built and tried to grow has become unsustainable to operate. We would like to thank each and every one of you for sharing the space with us and making it the cozy little spot weve loved since our doors opened in August 2016. Black Rock wa...s all about community, and we were so lucky to share it with you. It is worth noting our amazing staff over the years. Some of you have been with us since the start, others have joined later, but together youve created the heart and soul of this amazing space, and we are forever grateful for all your hard work. A special thank you goes out to our most incredible manager, Adam. You are truly the backbone of Black Rock - we couldnt have done it without you. We will be operating normally up until November 13th so please feel free to come by and have a few drinks, enjoy the atmosphere and say goodbye to the space. Sincerely, The Black Rock Team
