Field trips!! We love being involved in the community Being a small family daycare has lots of amazing perks, too many to list, including the one on one attention our children need. However, it can sometimes restrict our peer interactions. At Bunny Burrow, we make sure this is never a concern. We regularly, at least 2 times per week, get together with two other local daycares so our children can socialize with other little ones. They get to know the children from the other d...aycares and build meaningful friendships. I also like our children to connect with their community, so we travel by my van, walking and public bus to local places. On Mondays we go to Munchkinland for Daycare provider drop in. Tuesdays we meet two other daycares at Arrowview elementary school for games, playground time and snack. Thursdays we hop on the Eaglecrest bus to the Qualicum Library. Fridays we join the morning Munchkinland. We are a busy bunch who always finds things to do and doing them with friends and caring adults makes it that much more special

Bunny Burrow is growing, literally, we are growing our own food For the last month we have been building this amazing and fully fenced garden of love. The entire front yard has been transformed and now children have three play spaces to keep them engaged, the indoor daycare, our backyard and the 800 square foot front garden. Our children will plant, weed, sow, water and harvest all their own fruits and vegetables. I am so excited for everyone, what an amazing experience.
