Winemaker Nik said, 2020 might have brought us many obstacles, but it was a beautiful, dry growing season for our vineyards! ... From the first pick of Pinot Noir (for the 2020 Rose- YAY!) on October 4th, to the last pick of Riesling (for the 2020 Sweet Leaf- we can’t wait to try Nik’s spin on this sweet wine) on November 9th. The winemaking team has been busy with hand picking, sorting, pressing, punching and of course kiln drying. The kilns were homes to some Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Riesling this season. Horton with Kaley’s Food truck and her amazing Turkey Dinner Poutine. And ...depending on weather, she may return on Monday!
