Oh lovely Cottagers and campers could soon see a hydro hike if they were a seasonal rate payer under Hydro One. The Ontario Energy Board has ruled Hydro One can no longer offer the rate which means some could find rate increases of up to 100 per cent.

Wondering how to set up when you arrive at a campground? This video can help you! Only thing Id change in this video is this couple just showed up at a campground as they thought theyd just try :) Id highly recommend you book ahead, especially in our neck of the woods in northern Ontario. Theres not as many campgrounds around here and the next one may be at least 2 hr drive away. and especially with most campgrounds not accepting tents/tent trailers it would be best to find out ahead of time enjoy!

Good Evening, After much contemplation and consideration, it has been decided that we will be leaving our washrooms closed for the remainder of the season. Therefore, the beach will not be accessible to the public or tenters and will be only open to self-contained units. As much as we want to be able to open fully, it is just not feasible for us at this time to do so.

Just a reminder: We are NOT open to the public. Only campers visitors are that have signed in at the office and received an armband or on the seasonal day pass list are permitted past the gate. We need to be able to trace guests in case of an outbreak and washrooms are closed. Thank you for your cooperation!

One fence almost done just needs posts cut and lighting in place, Platform done just the step, small fence on other side and UP it can go!! Some days we ask ourselves why we do what we do and keep striving and working hard ....its moments like this that slaps me into reality of what, where and how far we have come and will continue to grow into....I know our story has been told before but as I find this old paper of my great grandfather applying for the land for a summer resort in 1934 it has got me thinking of how things happened back then on typed paper, mailed etc and such a long process. They officially opened in 1945 as Camerons Cottages which later was turned into a campground from my grandparents and then expanded by my parents. THIS is why we do what we do.....
