Happy Tech Tip Tuesday! A little camping hack that we like to share is safe storage of sewer hoses. It isn't ideal to keep these stored in your large trunk compartments with your bbq, chairs, outdoor table, games and toys. First, always release your black water first, and grey after. Also, always give your hose a good rinse after every use. After that, store your hose in the bumper of your trailer (yes, really). This is a great spot for it to transport safely and away from your cooking tools and outdoor accessories.

All of these items were purchased from local small businesses and will be donated to Stratford House of Blessing!! If you haven't heard, Camp-Out has given $100 to each employee to spend on items to go to the Stratford HOB. Each employee is asked to go spend their $100 at a ...local small-business as a way to give back to our local business community. The purchased items will then be donated to the House of Blessing. We have already received an overwhelming amount of support from other local businesses making their own contributions to both the House of Blessing and small-business community. Welcome back to #CampOutsClassroom Today we're sharing some simple ways to camp greener! Camping already is ecofriendly by design; - You're heating 6-10 gallons of water a time opposed to 40-100 at home. - It's a smaller space to heat and cool, making it more efficient. - Devices run off of 12V DC power vs. 120V AC at home, making much more energy efficient! ... Here are some easy ways to make your campstyle a little greener! 1. Save fuel by waiting to fill fresh water until you arrive at your campsite (or at the nearest filling station). 2. Only run your HWH when you need it, always check the water before running the hot water heater because the tank can stay warm for several hours after running. 3. Use RV or marine style toilet tissue. This tissue is designed to decompose and isn't as harmful to the delicate sanitation systems you'll find in parks and rural areas. 4. Avoid using paper/disposable plates and dishes. We know it's tempting to use disposable and throw it all in the firepit, but having a reusable dishware set is far better for the environment! 5. LNT! Leave no trace! Don't hammer nails into trees or damage the wildlife at all. The point of camping is to be with nature, and an important part of that is appreciating it without harming it, both on and off the campsite! See more

TECH TIP TUESDAY!! Todd wants to remind you that stabilizer jacks are not meant to level your trailer as they are not designed to hold a lot of weight. Instead, stab jacks should be used to reduce ''shake'' from movement inside the trailer. We go by the three-spin rule, when lowering your jacks, give an extra 3 full spins with the crank handle after they have touched the ground to ensure that they are securely hugging the ground but not so much that they could break or bend.
