Carrousel of the Nations 21.10.2020

One of the original Carrousel of the Nations villages, the Lebanese community was represented by our friends at Saint Peter's Maronite Parish Windsor at this summer’s Carrousel@Home. The Lebanese village presentation featured an exciting exhibition of dabke dance by the Phoenician Gems and a demonstration of the making of Lebanese bread. For today’s #FlashBackFriday we’re sharing this celebration of Lebanese culture... from a safe distance. Enjoy! #FBF #Carrousel #COTN #CelebrateCulture Thank you Canadian Heritage for your support of Carrousel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOyOFn66IQE

The Hungarian Cultural Centre has been a part of Carrousel for the last 45 years. In today's #FlashBackFriday, you'll meet a volunteer that has been a dedicated member of the Carrousel of the Nations Hungarian Village since 1976. You'll also have an opportunity to enjoy some traditional Hungarian dancing. This summer's Carrousel@Home was an incredible way to celebrate Hungarian culture ... from a safe distance. Stay safe and enjoy! #Carrousel # CelebrateCulture #FBF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97X04g3jo7g
