Community Futures Nicola Valley is pleased to announce we are moving forward with the Blade Sign Project, and is able to provide some financial assistance to help our local businesses participate in this exciting program! The Blade Sign Project commenced following a series of videos that we presented to the Community just prior to Roger Brooks coming to Merritt a few years ago. Roger Brooks, CEO of the Destination Development Association and known around the world, has assi...sted 2,000 communities with their branding, tourism, downtown development and marketing efforts during his distinguished career; and blade signs are a very important component of any downtown. CF Nicola Valley is going to be providing $150.00 to each business that participates in this project. These funds will be available until December 31, 2020. In addition, the City of Merritt requires a Sign Permit Application to be submitted, but has waived the $50.00 fee until December 31, 2020. CFNV will cover the *full* cost of your sign if your business has a completed sign permit and is one of the first five to have a seasonal window display!
