Today’s progress by the Fantastic Father-Daughter duo All the old cabinets are out and the broken hearth tiles have been replaced. You’ll understand why they’re a different colour when you see the finished product. Since we didn’t want to disturb the guests that are here for peace and quiet with running saws, flooring install will start tomorrow after check out. Side note: ... Noisy jobs like this are one of the reasons why we’re so firm about people not showing up before the 4PM check-in time. We aren’t just cleaning cabins. We are also running chainsaws, using log splitters, cutting grass, plowing snow, spreading gravel with the tractor, etc. See more

SO EXCITED!!! The new kitchen cabinets (on the right) and the new flooring (on the left) for the Rosy Finch cabin arrived! I installed the current floor in the cabin 18 years ago so this is going to be a lot of fun for me.
