Even if you have a bye or TBA in the first round, you still nee...d to lose TWO played matches to be eliminated from the tournament. There was a high volume of late starts, AND the number of teams in the mens and mixed divisions required 128 team brackets, this is responsible for the seemingly high number of byes. For a proper and fair tournament, once you go past 64 teams, a new round of 128 is required. A big thank-you to our bocce master Michelle Nex for adapting the tournament structure to make things fair, and ensuring each team gets to play at least two rounds. A doe gave birth on Overwaitea Hill about 45 minutes ago and is blocking traffic in one lane. Now there's a report of a cougar on the hill as well, no doubt stalking the doe and newly born fawn. Please take an alternate route if you can.

UPDATE: I have located the person I need to talk to, thank you everyone so very much!!! 2nd update, still looking... Hello town of Kimberley, I am trying to loc...ate my daughter Shaina. I have very little information but here it is. Shaina has a boyfriend named Dan who has a mom living in Kimberley. Dan apparently has a landscaping business in Calgary. I am trying to contact Dan's mom so I can see if Shaina is still with him. I am hoping she is forgetting to keep in contact, her phone is out of service and she does not access Facebook.
