Hi all, badminton is ON HOLD for the time being, due to the latest developments and the announcements made today by the provincial government. Stay safe everyone! Hopefully, we can return to the courts soon.

We had a rare night of Friday badminton with 19 players out. We are not sure of our November nights as we are working that out with the City right now. Stay tuned and we will get it on this page and by email soon as we know. We are on the court next week on Monday and Wednesday from 7 to 9.... Evergreen Hall has been rented out to the court system because of backlog in court cases. So no badminton on Nov. 22 and 29.

Hi all, this is a friendly reminder that we are playing badminton this week on FRIDAY only, the usual time 7 pm.

Hello everyone, I just received word that we are loosing our October 14 to Elections Canada. Apparently, they need the gym that night to set up. This means we don’t play again until October 23 WHICH IS A FRIDAY. After that we play October 26 and 28. We now have two weeks off. Disappointing I know but unfortunately, out of our hands.... Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and I will see you all October 23. Amber

Hello members, I hope you have been enjoying the sun today! As October is around the corner hard to believe our schedule for badminton was supposed to change. You might recall an email indicating that we might have to switch our game nights to the weekends.... GOOD NEWS: The city has just had a cancellation (not sure what club), and Mondays/Wednesdays are available to us! Amber and I signed the cheque for the city today. However, the are some exceptions a) Thanksgiving b) Election Week We have secured the following dates for the month of October: Oct 5 and 7 (Monday and Wednesday) Oct 14 (NO badminton on Oct 12 due to Thanksgiving) Oct 23, WHICH IS A FRIDAY --- due to ELECTION WEEK. The hall is used all other days. Oct 26, 28 (Monday and Wednesday) Please mark your calendars. We will send out reminders throughout the month. A final note: because attendance has been stable, around 17-22 players per night, we decided to book Evergreen Hall for 2 hours, instead of the current 2.5 hours. As I have pointed out in a previous email, we are currently running a deficit. But I think we can all agree that there no wait times these days; all of us get tons on games in. We can always re-evaluate once November comes around. So again, the schedule, for the most part, will not change. We continue on the Monday-Wednesday basis, except for Thanksgiving and Election week. Our play times will be 7 9 pm (or a bit more, if you show up early ) Stay safe everyone, Sebastian
