Now that Lolas little boy Cricket hopped out of the pouch, it's time to keep an eye on Lunas little boy He is about 8 months old so we are expecting him to hop out of his moms pouch for good, anyday now! Friday, November 27 at 11am we will be doing a live FB event checking up on all of our babies and we hope that Luna's boy will be ready to come home with us. ... It will be a paid event, around $5 or so. This is a great way to help support and hang out with the animals over the winter. Maple is the best mom ever. Why? Because she willingly produces two different types of milk at the same time! At any time, a kangaroo can have up to three babies. Hey everybody! Saturday is our Skele-fun Halloween Spooktacular. We will be having Princesses and Superheroes doing shows and photo ops, as well as candy giveaways and mascot dance parties. Please wear your costumes as we will be having a costume contest as well! We have pumpkins for purchase and carving kits. Violet is running wild! She's showing off because she knows it's our last weekend of the season, and your last chance to meet her this year. By next season she will be all grown up! So come out this weekend if you want to see the babies while they're still small enough to hold. ... And while you're here, pick your own pumpkins , play mini golf, pedal carts, ring toss and hit the giant slide. Then hang out with the alpacas, fainting goats, baby doll sheep and all the other animals. Finish it off with some ice cream, poutine or a delicious hamburger. This is sounding pretty good to us.
