Last week the residents of 50 homes supported by DASCH gifted their neighbors with White Spruce tree seedlings to help spread joy and holiday cheer, all while supporting the One Million Tree Challenge. The DASCH tree seedling project is supported through the Sharing Together Fund to help connect people living with intellectual disabilities and their neighbors. Here are a few photos of our DASCH individuals out in the community dropping off the seedlings.

The DASCH community is spreading joy and holiday cheer this week by gifting 1000 White Spruce tree seedlings to their neighbors in support of the One Million Tree Challenge. The DASCH Head Office team had a virtual meeting this morning, and the topic of ‘possibilities’ came up. Possibilities is a very inspirational and fitting word for our organization, and our clients are the best representatives of what the word possible means. The DASCH Recreation Team has been helping our homes get into the holiday spirit this month with different holiday-themed activities. A couple of the fun activities that were set up by the Rec Team included decorating gingerbread homes and hosting the First Annual Holiday Card Exchange. Last week, 42 DASCH homes created handmade holiday cards to be exchanged between the different residences. The cards will be distributed for all the participants to receive their festive mail ...this week.
