Adélie penguinsmake the journey to the ocean from their colony at Brown Bluff, home to approx. 20k breeding pairs. Instead of entering the ocean at the nearest convenient point close to their nests, hundreds/or thousands make a very long walk to what seems to be a random location to enter the water. What do they know that we don’t? #antarctica

Curious Little fur seal pup on the beach in South Georgia. Cute for a while, but once mature this little guy turns downright #savage trying to protect its territory and females from anything that comes close.
