Happy first day of school and in an extra challenging time during a pandemic! Had a wonderful time on CHCH TV Morning Live with Bob talking about back-to-school baking. (#ad) If youre looking for baking options that are all make-aheads I have you covered! In this segment, youll see how to make scrumptious Banana Flax Oatmeal Muffins. Theyre made using Becel as a 1:1 swap for butter but with 75% less saturated fats. Plus, we receive those polyunsaturated fats, which can h...elp in lowering cholesterol. I also bump up the fibre with whole-wheat flour, ground flax and whole oats. Next on the batch baking list, we have a Veggie, Cheese Egg Casserole. Love this meal because its completely flexible to use ingredients you have on hand- any types of veggies, cheese, extra proteins! Toss it in! We also cant beat the freshness of our Ontario Eggs which go from farm to grocery store in only 4 to 7 days! We also receive our 6 grams of protein per egg as well as choline and lutein in the yolk.
