Had a good burst of energy today. Got the long long overdue pasta sauce from the mountain of tomatoes I've got leftover started. Going to take while to make it through simmering down all of them though, probably a multi day project (not pictured the three totes of ) Also got some garlic powder made-up, first time trying this, turned out not too bad. And because I was blending made a yummy squash celeriac soup with chilli, garlic, and onion #regenerativeagriculture #nodig #7generations #foodprep #foodpreservation

Hello everyone, Winters is here, all the crops are out but I want to keep giving you some fresh greens so....... Subscription to the winter microgreen CSA is open!... This CSA will be bi-weekly starting November 17th and run till March 9th for a total of 9 weeks. Each pick up you will get 2 containers of microgreens: one 100g of either sunflower shoots or pea shoots one 40g container of either mustard, fenugreek, spicy blend (red mustard, arugula and cress), or mellow blend (broccoli, crimson clover and, purple kohlrabi). I may add a few other mixes for the 40g containers. The weekly cost will be $10.50 which works out to $94.50 for the season. You can also sign up for a half season (till the week of December 28) and if you decide continue for the remainder. Plastic free!!! I try and be plastic free where I can so I will be doing a swap system for this CSA. Your microgreens will come in cleaned and sanitized tupperware's which will be swapped out each pick up. This is better for plastic usage and for the shelf life of the microgreens. Should you choose for safety/health reasons you can opt out of this and get them in plastic bags like during the season. They will be available for pick up in Parkdale Tuesday evenings from 7-10pm or can be delivered for an extra $5 a week. The sign up deadline for the first pick up is November 1st. Of course you can sign up later but you'll be starting a later pickup. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message!

I think it's safe to say we're finally getting into winter. But I've got my end of season veg available for you all! Carrots $5 / 2lbs Sunchokes $5 / 1lb... Kohlrabi $3 each (one large or two small counts as one). Frozen vegan arugula pesto $4 / 125 ml (Ingredients: Garlic, arugula, basil, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, olive oil, lemon juice). Cherry tomatoes $4.5 / 400g bag Pick up in Parkdale or delivery extra :)
