Dear DH Museum Friends Sorry to be so long between posts. Had a problem with our Facebook page. Hope everyone is taking care and enjoying summertime. Work is progressing on our building addition here at the museum. Will post some photos of it in a day or two. ... Here at the museum we are always collecting photos, memories, growing up in, or cottage life, or visiting Dorset stories. Email, or message us some! Also Covid-19 has had a big impact on our lives and is now a part of our ongoing Dorset area history too. Wonderful, caring gestures and good will from little painted rocks, signs, grocery deliveries, grocery shopping for others, essential workers, or fun things you do as a family, gardening when you never have before, staying home, not to mention home schooling, neighbours helping neighbour. When you have the time please write these stories down, and/or photos send them to us for our archives, thank you. The museum will remain closed for this 2020 season. We look forward to our 2021 opening to show you all our new exhibits, and our finished building extension. Please keep in touch by email or on here. We like to hear from all of our Friends.
