WE ARE BACK! We are currently operating in a limited capacity due to restrictions from the Alberta Government and the ADAC. We are working through our backlog of appointments, so if you haven’t heard from us yet, you will soon! A few changes to our office: Staff are screened for Covid-19 symptoms every day prior to the start of their shift. ... You will be screened for possible Covid-19 exposure prior to your appointment. If you screen positive, we will rebook you once your symptoms have resolved. You will also be asked to return directly home and call 811 or complete the online assessment tool so you can be tested if needed. Upon entry to the clinic we will scan your forehead for your temperature and ask you to sanitize your hands. There is also a new Covid-related consent form to review. Masks (fabric or medical) are encouraged but not required! Staff will be masked at all times. There are limits on the number of people allowed in clinic at any time. We ask that you call us when you arrive and when it is safe to do so we will invite you in! We also ask that minors be accompanied by one adult only (no additional adults or children permitted). Our tooth brushing station is now for hand washing only. Please ensure your teeth are clean prior to arrival! We want to thank you for your patience as we work towards our new normal, and we appreciate all of your support over these past couple of months. If you have any questions about our new protocols, give us a call! We can’t wait to see you (in the safest way possible) and can’t wait to see what you think about our new look!

The Alberta Government announced today that dental offices can begin opening as early as May 4th. While this is exciting news, we must continue to wait for guidance from our governing body, the Alberta Dental Association and College (ADAC). We are anticipating many changes in how our office will operate, including rules regarding physical distancing, what procedures we will be able to perform, new PPE requirements and more. Please bear with us as we await the regulations from the ADAC and work to reopen in the safest way possible for patients and staff. We will reach out to begin rescheduling appointments asap!

Now that we have your attention, we have an important announcement. Effective immediately there is a mandatory suspension of all non-emergency dental care. In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the Alberta Dental Association and College has mandated closure of all dental offices in Alberta for non-emergent dental care until further notice. ... We at Mission Orthodontics will still provide emergency care for our patients. Please note, broken brackets and pokey wires are not emergencies.
