Many people find it calming and relaxing to engage in hobbies that include simple repetitive actions - knitting, woodworking, yoga, jigsaw puzzles. Why should it be any different for dogs?

This is especially good info for owners socializing puppies to new people. We always suggest that that you have the person throw the cookie past the dog so they know they have the option of increasing distance if they feel uncomfortable.
