Hats off to everyone who participated in Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada’s #HatsForHope initiative on Saturday, October 24! For every use of the #HatsForHope hashtag, Dynacare donated 27 cents to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, up to a total of $1,500. We’re proud to announce that the hashtag was used over 6,000 times, and that Dynacare is donating the full $1,500 to support Brain Tumour Foundation Canada’s Pediatric & Family Support Program, which provides support to children affected by a brain tumour and their families through support groups, resources, a toll-free support line and more. Thank you to everyone who participated, and to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada for the important and inspiring work they do each and every day.

Last week, Dynacare and Diabetes Canada: Manitoba officially launched Year 3 of #Dynacare4Diabetes a province-wide wellness initiative to raise awareness of the risk factors for diabetes, and to encourage Manitobans to speak to their doctor to see if an A1C (blood sugar) test is recommended. Between October 21 and November 30, Dynacare is offering free A1C tests at every Dynacare location and mobile A1C clinic in Manitoba. For every A1C test completed, Dynacare will make a 50-cent donation to Diabetes Canada, up to a total of $25,000.
