Recently we completed this H125 (HAWC 1) for the Calgary Police Service in conjunction with Airbus Helicopters Canada . The project turned out great, and the Air Support team at CPS are very happy with the final product. This H125 will replace CPS' current H120 airframe. Thank you to our teams involved in the project, making this another successful Eagle completion. And keep an eye on the sky, to get a glimpse of this beautiful bird! ... ----- About HAWCS: After the tragic death of Constable Rick Sonnenberg in October 1993, the Rick Sonnenberg Memorial Society was formed and through enormous community support, the Calgary Police Service (CPS) purchased its first helicopter. On July 18, 199 - The CPS HAWCS helicopter went airborne on its inaugural operational flight making Calgary the first municipal police agency in Canada to have a full-time patrol helicopter program.
