We are blown away to have won in not only one, but multiple categories for the Readers Choice Awards 2020! We have won in the entertainment categories of Outdoor Tourist Attraction, Local Tourist Attraction, Family Activities, Day Trip Destinations and Children's Entertainment. We are absolutely humbled by the support we have received by the community again this year, especially during this time. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

We have come to the end of our 2020 Season. This season was off to a late start and like many other small businesses, we faced many struggles due to Covid-19. We could not be more grateful for all of the support we have received from our faithful customers, partners and community. We’d like to give a special shoutout to our incredible staff who worked extremely hard during these trying times. We’d also like to thank our business associates Media Suite for all of their quick and excellent work developing our website reservation system as well as Fast Signs Barrie for our beautiful front entrance sign. With your combined efforts we were able to provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone this year and we look forward to seeing you all next season. Stay safe!

International Tiger Day Today we come together to celebrate this magnificent predator who for centuries has been the subject of legends and myths. They embody courage, beauty and strength. There is no question as to why Elmvale Jungle Zoo chose the Bengal Tiger as their logo over 50 years ago.

We are very thankful for our Zoo Keepers everyday for all their hardwork and devotion but this week July 19-25, 2020 is dedicated to them! The love and care Zoo Keepers put in to their daily routines include long hours, patience, physical strength, updating habitats, ensuring a healthy diet, cleaning and of course play and cuddle time! When visiting say a BIG hello to them and they are happy to answer any questions you may have.

WORLD SNAKE DAY! Thank you Doug Downey for spreading the word on these fascinating, diverse creatures that range from several inches to 30 feet long with more than 3,500 species of a snake around the world!
