This is sure to be a holiday season of intensely mixed emotions as we all will experience a Christmas like no other. The pandemic has shattered many plans for everyone this past year.graduations, weddings, vacations, music festivals and just the inability to gather with family and friends. We have had to learn to adapt to masks, extensive hand washing and sanitizing for the safety of ourselves and others. At Enviro Masters, we had to develop new protocols and procedures ...to ensure that everyone’s health and well being was being protected. When you look back at 2020 what is your story going to be? For us it would be easy to look back with negativity about all the challenges and hurdles that we had to overcome just to stay in business. However, when we really stop to reflect on the year, GRATITUDE is what we are feeling. We are grateful for amazing employees that adapted to changes of daily tasks and routines. We are grateful that they remained healthy and positive throughout the season. We are grateful for returning and new Enviro Masters customers. The support of our local communities is very much appreciated every year, but in a year where there was so much stress, sadness and uncertainty, it is valued even more. Personally, each one of our boys has brought much happiness to the McIntosh family in 2020. In February, Mitchell returned to Ontario to work, after being employed in Saskatchewan for 4 years. He and Lyndsey have bought a country home outside of Ripley. Shawn and Rachel blessed us with another grandson on September 11. Baby Alex completes their trio of McIntosh boys. One week later, on September 19, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at their Huron Twp home, Zac married Jenni, the love of his life, blessing us with another amazing daughter-in-law. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention Maisie, our Springer Spaniel puppy that joined the McIntosh household in May. She too, brings much happiness into our lives. We are so grateful for all the happiness bestowed upon us in 2020. During this holiday season let us all take time to slow down and enjoy all that is important in our lives.
