Working from home.... As some of you might know, professionally, I believe I have the best of both worlds, a full time job, which I enjoy immensely and a part-time Organizing business I love! Until three weeks ago these were two different worlds, my office was the 9 to 5 outside the house and home was family and business passion. The lines between work and home are now blurred and it has required some adjusting. ;)... I have a fantastic home office, organized, equipped and comfortable, but I am finding it hard to work from there. You see, as much as I love my office, it is in the basement, and although that never bothered me before, now I feel very isolated when I am in there. So, our little solarium is now my office; no desk, printer or office chair, constant interruptions from Dexter, distractions from my sons, yet, I am actually able to be productive in this little corner. All these to say, that at times, what is logic (like working from my home office) is not necessarily what is right for us. In times of uncertainty, we must stay open minded, not be afraid to change our routines, forget what is "normal" and go for what feels good, even if it doesn't make sense. Can you relate? Tell me about your experiences

Organizing the pantry could be a daunting project, but one that can be accomplished in 4 or 5 simple steps: 1. Empty, and I mean the whole pantry, also take this opportunity to wipe the shelves clean. 2. Purge: check every item and discard what is expired, donate what you know you won’t use and keep only those products that you are certain you will eat, forget about the good intentions you had when you got that bag of dry mushrooms, if you are not eating it, no point on keep...ing it. 3. Sort: group like items together and start taking stock of what you have. 4. Shop: this is optional, but there are so many containers that will make it easier to keep your like items together and your pantry clean and more organized, that it might be worth investing in some. For example, glass jars to empty your grains in, wire baskets for cans, bins for pasta, etc. But if you rather skip this step, no problem, just don’t skip organizing the pantry 5. Organize: now it is time to put all back in, whether or not you are using containers, the goal is to group like items together, create categories, and neatly place all items back on the shelves keeping them visible and within reach. No pantry? No problem, you could apply the same steps to your kitchen cabinets. So, go ahead, organize your pantry/cabinets and let me know how they turn out!
