Well it's not a surprise that this post was coming...Espanola Lobsterfest on May 23rd is cancelled. When things are safe and healthy again we will be ready to host another fun-filled, entertaining fiesta in a large group putting the idea of social distancing further behind us. But we won't be there for a while, so stay safe, practice social distancing, wash your hands frequently and we'll see you on the flip side!

Espanola Lobsterfest is pleased to announce our plans for our 2020 event! Keep Saturday May 23rd (the Saturday after the May long weekend) free for this year's party at the Espanola Curling Club. We are thrilled to welcome Pop Machine as this year's musical headliner and we will be doing our part to help support local fundraising for the new X-Ray Suite at Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre. Stay tuned for more details on when ticket sales will commence!

Dave Gallant of Espanola Lobsterfest is pleased to provide the family of Elizabeth Cassidy (husband Leslie Knibbs and son, Scott) with a cheque for $4,500 in her name. The money will assist with the expenses the family will incur while awaiting a liver transplant. Elizabeth has just received notification that she has been placed on the active transplant list. We all wish her and her family the very best through this difficult time!

Lobsterfest is ready to go! All that's missing is you! See you tomorrow!! If you dont have a ticket you can still come to the dance. Tickets available at 9pm. $15 at the door. Must be 19 or older.

Okay Lobsterfeasters, If you've got hardware that would help you crack into the yummy lobster goodness, please bring your own devices. Nutcrackers, scissors, small hammers (just kidding) may be useful. We will have some availability, but not 300 so feel free to outfit yourselves!

Ticket sales for Espanola Lobsterfest are now closed. BUT you can still come and dance the night away to MOJO Radio for $15 at the Espanola Curling Club! Doors open at 9:00 pm for the dance! For those who have tickets - don't forget the DECORATE YOUR TABLE CONTEST lives on! All Espanola Lobsterfesters are invited to decorate their own table on whatever theme they choose and the winning table will win $250 to the charity of their choice!

One month today! Lobsterfest with Manitoulin Brewing!!

Espanola Lobsterfest is pleased to announce that Manitoulin Brewing will be back on the floor of this year's event with some of their fabulous beer!! Mark May 25th on your calendar and get your tickets before its too late!

Ticket sales are now on! Espanola Lobsterfest tickets can now be found at the Espanola Beer Store, Garnet's Rentals and Espanola Home Hardware (where you can purchase the tickets with a credit card). Online ticket sales are also active at: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4205395 We are using a new vendor this year and in full discosure, the ticket purchaser pays the transaction fees ($55 tickets = $57.92, $75 surf and turf = $78.62). This will allow Espanola Lobsterfest to generate more funds for Beth Cassidy. So grab your tickets soon! Ticket sales will shut down on the May Long weekend or when we sell out!

This year's fundraising efforts will go towards supporting Massey's Beth Cassidy and her family as she continues to wait for a liver transplant. Beth suffers from a rare genetic condition called Wilson disease and her liver is failing her. She teaches children's yoga and works at Biidaban school as an educational assistant. The funds from this year's Lobsterfest will support Beth and family with the $1500/month required for medications not covered by OHIP along with the extensive travel and accommodations for her husband and son. So come on out and show your support! Ticket sales will commence very soon!
