The rinks are ready for skating. Thank you Fairmont Park Ice Masters.
Update on the status of the skating rinks. Thank you Fairmont Park Ice Masters for all your hard work.
Wonderful news for the winter season!
We’ve received several questions on whether the Icemasters will assemble and maintain the pleasure and hockey rinks this winter given Covid restrictions. The sh...ort answer is that we hope and plan to. The longer answer is that we have tentative support from Councillor Brad Bradford as we recognize the loss of indoor hockey and the need to get families outside this winter. We don’t know what restrictions will be in place, or how we can monitor them. Restrictions might include a maximum number of people on the ice and the wearing of face masks. We hope to have good news soon, but obviously this can change as restrictions change. Updates will be posted here.
Lost dog! Please see below!

The City of Toronto is committed to delivering quality children's recreation programs, and we want your feedback on our recreation programs for children ages 6 to 12 years old. We invite you to participate in the 2020 Children's Recreation Program Quality Survey, which will be available from February 3 to 28, 2020. To access the survey, click on the link below or copy and paste the link into your browser:... https://s.cotsurvey.chkmkt.com/ Alternatively, you can access the survey by visiting the Community Recreation website at www.toronto.ca/recreation. In 2018, the City received over 3,000 responses to this survey. We heard loud and clear that the City of Toronto has fun, engaging programs that are age appropriate, welcoming, safe and accessible. The City of Toronto is always making improvements in the areas of communication, supporting children's individual needs and creating environments that foster friendships. To support program quality and continually improve we are: * Certifying all recreation staff in the HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development * Providing recreation staff with greater training and development * Reviewing policies and procedures, as well as programs to make sure they meet participant needs * Creating new curriculum for children/youth to develop sport, social and leadership skills. We thank you in advance for your participation.
