This week we had a birthday celebration for one of our amazing patients, Paisley!! This handsome boy turned 17 this week! He got lots of pets and cuddles, as well as some special pup cakes! Join us in wishing Paisley a Happy Birthday!!

We have lost a huge member of our Brantford Community, Walter Gretzky. He was a kind, generous person who was so passionate about our city. I think we all have a memorable story about him from either a charity event or just seeing him around town. We are thinking of the Gretzky family and are so sorry for their loss

As we start seeing some warmer days in March and the snow starts to melt, we all start to get excited! Although once we start seeing temperatures of 4C, ticks will start being active! Today we honour all of the soldiers who have fought for our country and the animals who worked along side them.

Looks like after Noelle's climbing adventure the other day she was a little sore after she fell. Time for an xray to make sure nothing is broken!

All of our staff love to do whatever is needed to make your pet feel comfortable during their appointment! Sometimes it's treats as a distraction, or in this case a lot of snuggles. This lovely girl, Fika, was a little nervous during her visit. Our technician Christina snuggled right in close and wrapped her arm around her and she went to sleep in her arms

UPDATE: We have updated a few policies here at Fairview Drive Pet Hospital in regards to COVID-19. We are so glad to still be able to allow our clients into the building at this time for appointments as well as food or medication pick up. As per the face mask by law introduced here in Brantford in July, you are required to wear a face covering to enter the building. If you are unable to wear a face mask/covering due to a medical condition, please call us from your vehicle whe...n you arrive and we will provide curbside services. When coming into the building for an appointment we do have a COVID-19 screening form at the front entrance for you to fill out stating you are not experiencing any symptoms and have not traveled outside the country. To allow for proper social distancing in our exam rooms, we are asking to limit the number of family members in the exam room to 1 per appointment. If this is not possible for any reason please give us a call! We have changed our hours on Wednesdays and will now be open 8am-7pm.
