Celebrating new mural proposal got accepted for The Newcomers Centre!

Kalum Teke Dan and I were chosen as the winning team out of 40+teams of artists to paint a mural at the Centre for Newcomers !!! I'm so excited to start this ne...w project that means a lot to me as a newcomer to Canada I can now call home and thrive as an artist! Very frequent at night I've felt unease and anxiety and I've come to the realization that a lot has to do because I'm needing to attend to myself, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. ... This painting I was inspired to paint is telling me to come back to my centre and nurture that inner fountain with lots of love and care. Self-care is becoming one of my top of the list priorities when in the past it was at the bottom or didn't even make it in my list. Now shifting that pattern in my self and motherhood and connecting with myself and other women through nourishment. Self-care is my core to make anything in my life SUSTAINABLE. With it things have more meaning and purpose because I can enjoy life more and that's what it's all about!!!!!
