Le cancer, c’est très négatif. Ma Santé Active, c’est un groupe de soutien qui repose sur une dynamique positive. J’ai participé aux séances de yoga en ligne, aux pauses santé, aux conférences. "A high proportion of women affected by breast cancer experiences financial impacts. Revenues decrease while expenses related to treatments increase. This creates stress, an additional concern, often for a period of a year or even more. This financial impact can have all kinds of consequences. For example, some women will have to cut back on supplemental healthcare expenses (physiotherapy, leisure activities for their well-being, physical rehabilitation, massotherapy, etc.) ...which, during this difficult time, would be very beneficial to their quality of life. For others, it's their basic needs (housing, groceries, day-to-day expenses) that are affected by the inevitable decrease of their revenues. Women living alone or with young children are particularly affected. In addition, a lot of women do not ask their relatives for financial help. They are uncomfortable, or sometimes even feel guilty. That is why it's important for help to be diverse, known and well presented by the healthcare team so that it is easily accessible to the women who need it.
