As fall is quickly approaching and children are returning to school, we would like to say thank you! Thank you to each of you who have helped us get through this tough time this summer, thank you to all our staff for helping us out when needed especially Marion who always goes above and beyond for us and nevaeh who is always willing to help. And all the helpers around camp. And a huge thank you to the Canadians who kept their holidays local! It helped us keep going through ...this difficult time. We hope that each of our students going back have a safe and healthy year at school. With that being said watch out for those school busses on the road! I will try to keep posting pictures of around the camp and what's new to forbes holiday resort as I return to a bit of normalcy working full time. As you know the work doesn't end when summer does Dwayne and Wanda have fall and winter to work Dwayne starts snowplowing and Wanda starts cleaning cabins and organizing and winterizing them. We do have some cabins we leave open for winter ice fishing and snowmobiling if anyone is interested. The ice fishing is great up here and the trails are beautiful.

It is starting to feel like fall You still have time to come enjoy this weather I don't know about you but fall is my favorite time of the year! Snuggling up by the fire with a blanket and a good drink surrounded by the sounds of nature just perfect. The fall is beautiful up here!

We have a few cabins available, August 29th to September 5th First come first serve they are going quick!!! Enjoy the last week before school Kick back and relax before all the craziness begins!

Just a couple friendly reminders! Check out time is 10 am Check in time is after 2 30 pm. Sometimes we have full camp to clean which can take a while please be patient with us as we are trying our best to complete the cleaning by 2 pm.... Dogs are allowed at camp but you must keep them on leash at all times. We understand accidents happen if dogs slip out the door. Some guests are afraid of dogs. You also must clean up after them. If you need a shovel just ask. Please check in at the front when you arrive. The river is a no wake zone. Enjoy and relax Lastly go fishing! And don't forget to send us your pictures!!! See more

This year has definitely been different, we have missed our American friends but glad to see some new Canadian friends staying local and supporting local tourism, keep it up Canada!
