The dog you are interested in DOES NOT have to be listed on the site to apply; you can type their name in the application. We compile all apps, pick best fits for the animals and adopters and then call to set up meet and greets. If the meet goes well, you can take home SAME DAY. We only book appointments within 24 hours of reading an application as we CANNOT hold animals so if you’re not looking to adopt for a while, please wait to apply. MEET WILLIAM WALLACE This incredibly sad, painful boy is William. He came to us after being found with multiple open wounds and beyond skinny as he wasn't able to fend for himself After getting him to the vet right away, they believe he was attacked a few times resulting in multiple wounds and abscesses. He is being treated for infection for a couple days and then will need to have his leg removed due to the damage. ... He is SO loving but timid still and we can't wait to show him what it's like to have a full belly and be spoiled rotten

We are so sorry for anyone who came out and did not get a puppy - there’s only so many puppies! ... PARVO STRIKES AGAIN One of our recent intake puppies refused a meal this morning and our worst fears were confirmed ... parvo. Right after Christmas we were hit with a $5200 emergency vet bill for the FOUR parvo pups we had in care over the holidays . This was a major hit to us financially, as you can imagine. ... Please please please, even just $5 from each of our followers would wipe our vet bills clean! We hate to keep asking but we’re in desperate need of support!! TONIGHT’S INTAKES The calls don’t stop and we’re glad we have the ability to help ! Tonight we brought in a Mom with her two pups - one little man seems to have an eye issue we’ll have to get looked at in the morning but right now they’re happy. ... We also brought in an older pup who pees every time you approach her she’s so timid . She’s in foster now working on trust with humans and we know she’s going to be so amazing

Whelping homes (taking in a pregnant mama or mama and pups) are SO IMPORTANT to animal rescue. ... Sure, it’s a longer commitment and requires some extra space in your house be available. You’ll want to like mornings (when the pups get older they’re definitely morning lovers) and the smell of puppy poop hopefully doesn’t nauseate you too much (there’s a LOT involved). But at the end of the day, the cuddles, love, laughs and absolute appreciation from mama is 100% worth every second. Want to be a part of this crazy journey?? OUR KIND OF NEW YEARS DATE We have been busy busy around here and today we brought in 39 more animals from the cold; including a bunny That brings us to over 65 animals in TWO WEEKS !... We love our volunteer jobs, our supporters, our network of rescues and pet stores and, of course, every single animal we bring in. We appreciate you all Thank you all for a wonderful, wild and busy year!! We can’t wait to see what 2021 will bring!!
