"Typically, the Thanksgiving weekend is one where we spend a lot of time in close proximity with those we care for. However this year will likely be different. Various public health leaders have strongly advised us to only leave our homes for essential reasons. If you live alone (like me!), we are advised to connect to only one other household. Overall, we are advised to be extra careful around our circles and our bubbles because whenever someone enters your ‘bubble’, ever...yone who has ever been in their bubble in theory comes with them. That’s going to be difficult for a long weekend when we typically gather in large groups to celebrate and give thanks but if we don’t take closer care now, I worry that we will have less to be grateful for in the future. So if you can this weekend, stay home in order to stay safe. Here you will also find answers to password resets, how to apply, program information, and so much more. 2. STU-VIEW. STU-VIEW is GBC's online student information system. This is where you register for courses, pay fees, view grades, apply for awards, apply for transfer credits, and more. Your STU-VIEW password is used for most school-related accounts. 3. GBC E-mail. Your account will be active during your time at GBC and one year after you graduate. You must use your GBC email to communicate with staff, faculty, and administration on all GBC-related affairs. You can access your account by going to mail.georgebrown.ca. You log in information is the same as STU-VIEW. 4. GBC App. The GBC mobile app gives you easy access to class information, news, events, campus maps, and important college services. Search 'George Brown College' in your app store and download for FREE. 5. Blackboard. Blackboard is an online content management system where you can meet remotely for your classes, access course content, submit assignments, and see school announcements.
