As you've heard by now, the lockdown is forcing us to postpone any projects that weren't started before Jan 14th. We are lucky enough to have a couple basements that are completely isolated from our clients, and we are taking all the measures we can to screen, wear masks, have material delivered to site, and keep working safe through this difficult time. We'd like to extend a huge thankyou to our clients who are a affected by this, for your understanding and for riding this w...ave with us. It's a hiccup that nobody wants but we all want the world to be a safer place and limiting contact is the only way we'll get there. In case you don't know us personally yet, here's a little bio! This is Andrew Reid, one of the partners at Ginkgo. Andrew started in construction back in his hometown of Thunder Bay, where he framed and assembled pre-fabricated garages. After 3 years in the industry, he moved to KW to complete the Renovation Technician program at Conestoga. Upon graduating, he painted exteriors for a summer and then worked as a junior carpenter/apprentice carpenter with a local renovation com...pany for the next 5 years. He passed the Red Seal exam for General Carpentry in 2020, and shortly after fulfilled his dream of opening his own business along with his partner, Nathan. In his work, Andrew enjoys framing, drywalling and trying new things. Andrew grew up skateboarding and snowboarding, and was a founding member of Thunder Bay Bike Polo. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his fiancee Marissa. He recently got into go-karting and aspires to ride motorcycles in the coming years.
