CHEQUE DAY! Over the last few days, we’ve been distributing the first round of funds raised through the Elk Valley Strong fundraiser initiative. To date we’re proud to announce that we’ve issued payments totalling $1860!! back to Elk Valley small businesses! Giving money to people is actually a pretty fun thing to do. The reactions from business owners were amazing. All owners were so impressed that someone (or multiple someone’s) chose their business. Well of course t...hey would because all of our valley businesses are incredible! Cheques will be coming in the mail to those who we couldn’t deliver to in person. Remember that this is only the FIRST round of cheque day. We’ll be continuing this fundraiser all summer long.
