Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather statement for the entire province of Nova Scotia. Significant rainfall is expected Monday night into Tuesday. T...otal rainfall: 25 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts possible. Locations: Nova Scotia. Time span: Beginning late Monday afternoon or evening ending Tuesday morning. Remarks: Rain is expected to begin during the day Monday over southwestern Nova Scotia and spread to the remainder of the province Monday evening. The rain will become heavy at times overnight before tapering to showers or flurries on Tuesday. In addition strong southeast winds will develop mainly over the eastern half of the province Monday night, then shift to strong and gusty westerly winds across the entire province on Tuesday.
