The Minister brags about all the vaccines, all the testing, all the PPE. Yet, Canada is lagging behind in administering vaccines, still does not have a rapid testing regime, and has had to overcome a disastrous PPE shortage. The only thing worse than a bad plan is no plan. Canadians deserve better.

Canadians are struggling to pay their bills, and the best Justin Trudeau can do is to continue raising taxes and making life more expensive. It is time for a leader who understands the realities of average Canadians.

This weekend the Liberals are debating how to spend more of Canadian’s tax dollars. Rather than creating jobs or stimulating the economy, they prefer to have everyone on the government dole. Conservatives know that Canadians need a hand up, not a hand out. We are committed to creating the environment for Canadians to succeed.

Our Conservative team continues to call on the Trudeau Liberals to stand up to the Communist Chinese dictatorship and recognize the ongoing genocide of the Uyghurs. It is unacceptable that Justin Trudeau allows this to continue on his watch.

C-21 will do nothing to stop the flow of illegal firearms into our country, nor will it do anything to stop gun violence in our cities. In fact, municipalities across Canada are already speaking out against Justin Trudeau’s attempt to offload his responsibility onto them.

Our Conservative team has consistently stood up against this government for their nonsensical firearms policy since day one, and we will continue to stand up against this latest attack on law-abiding firearms owners. Last week my colleague @ToddDohertyMP proposed the creation of a national suicide hotline for those who need help. In our community we have seen first hand recently the tragic consequences of lack of help for those in need. I am proud to support Todd’s motion.

The Trudeau Liberals continue to mislead Canadians with their misguided gun ban plan. Ignoring the actual problem criminals and targeting law-abiding firearm owners will not make our communities safer. During his appearance at the Public Safety Committee, I asked Minister Blair and the Liberals to be honest with Canadians.

Despite Trudeau’s dishonesty, he has been honest about his basic admiration for China’s dictatorship. The Liberals are stalling the Huawei security review and gave a major national security contract to a Beijing-linked company. It is time for Trudeau to stand up for Canada

The Liberals' plan to protect Canadians is failing. They spend billions more, but the results are terrible: violent crime, shootings and homicides are all up across Canada. Keeping our communities safe requires results no amount of Liberal spin will make our communities safer. I asked the Minister to stop spinning his wheels and start protecting Canadians:

On Remembrance Day Canadians from coast to coast to coast come together to honour those who have sacrificed so much on our behalf. We owe a debt that can never be repaid to veterans whose sacrifices and courage gave us our freedoms. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we remember them.

It is Veterans Week in Canada. I encourage every Canadian to give what they can, buy a poppy and a Legion mask, and wear them to remember our Veterans and support our local legions. Lest we forget.
