Well another great season of fishing here off Sooke, what a roller coaster it has been with regulations and "Covid". we really appreciated the support from all the locals!! We stayed busy and we got to show everyone what is in our backyard! The rain has swept our fish to the river now so the boats out until December. See you next year! Stay safe.

New Openings for August 2020 Hey guys so Aug is just around the corner, Aug 1st we can keep 1 chinook per person under 80cm I posted this picture to show you the average chinook around here is in the slot size so dont be discouraged about our slot this year for August. These are the coho everyone has been talking about. This great group got theirs and we were back to the dock by 9:30.

Tyee!!! What a Tank. A couple lunkers cruising through Sooke, as well as lots of hatchery coho for the grill.

Alright guys we are looking to get back at it and re build the books this spring, if your a local/small group that I have previously had to cancel or looking to get out on the water end of month on please contact me if i have not already done so. We will be running with a few precautions on the boat gloves, hand sanitizer, limited number of guests and of course the boat will be throughly cleaned after each trip. Any bookings that have previously been made July on we considered them still a go, if we have more restrictions due to the virus closer to then we will contact you.

Now that BC has declared that hunting and fishing is an essential service. Here is a where we are at. This is not getting us on the boat together yet but makes it clear where we are at here in BC.

Just as the Halibut fishing starts to perk up here in Sooke this virus shows up. Currently we are going to shut down trips for the month of April and reassess come May. Stay safe!

Well 2020 fishing season has begun! Today was a test fish to make sure all the gear is working, looks like its good to go! Some healthy winter springs out there right now!
