Celebrate Halloween safely! Halloween may look a little different this year, but it can still be a lot of fun. To have a safe and happy Halloween, you should: Avoid gatherings with people outside of your household. Stay home if you are feeling ill, even if you have mild symptoms, or if you are at higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19. Turn off your porch light and don’t hand out treat...s if you are sick, even with mild symptoms, or self-isolating. Both trick-or-treaters and people handing out candy should wear a face covering. Dear Valued patients, As Premier Ford continues to reopen the province, dental offices have now been given further direction and can begin to slowly return to practice. Our return date is June 11th. We are opening the practice first to all dental emergencies and urgent care. Thank you to everyone who has patiently waited out having broken teeth, loose baby teeth, the crown & implant completions, orthodontic and regular hygiene appointment delays. It has truly been unprecedent...ed and beyond our control. We remain committed to the safety of our patients and team. Health and well-being continue to be our highest priority. With that in mind, you will notice some changes when you return to our practice: *Pre-screening of all patients and team coming into the practice *New plexiglass barriers in reception *Personal protective equipment from: gowns,new masks, face shields,etc *Barriers in treatment entry *Surgically clean air purifiers in all treatment rooms *Magazines, and toys have been put away Reception is set up for social distancing with hand sanitizer, masks available *Please do not bring anyone with you to accompany your appointment at this time. *We are not accepting payments of cash or cheques at this time. It will remain a typical business in our sterilization center. As always, we clean and sterilize our instruments, package all instruments into our autoclave sterilizers.The packages are stamped with the date, and spore tested. The treatment rooms will be completely cleaned to the highest standards in between patient use. Entering and exiting the treatment rooms will be strictly limited. As you can tell, this will continue to be work in progress and we are proceeding at a much slower pace with caution under the guidance of the RCDSO and the Ministry of Health. We are confident that any visit you make will be a safe and happy experience! Our administration team will be reaching out to schedule your appointments.
