We would like to welcome Dr. Sara Worth to our practice! Dr. Sara Worth started her career in Dentistry working in the London area before heading north to practice in North Bay. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario and completed her dental studies at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She enjoys a wide variety of dentistry including working with children. In her spare time, Dr. Worth is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hunting, fishing and everything the northern lifestyle has to offer. Welcome to Haileybury Dental Dr. Worth!

The Ontario government has given dentists the green light to slowly start reopening. That's amazing news for the residents of Temiskaming Shores. Our local dentists have been preparing to see patients but also wanted to let everyone know that you will notice some changes when you walk through our doors. There have been some modifications to our offices in order to meet the new requirements from Ontario Public Health. Firstly, there will be a lot more communication through the... phone and we will be limiting the amount of patients in our offices at any given time. Secondly, glass barriers have been installed in waiting rooms to help protect our patients and staff. Also, all of our staff will be wearing more personal protective equipment and we will be requiring our patients to wear a mask as they wait for treatment. These changes have been prepared to ensure the safety of the public. We would like to thank all of our patients for their patience as we slowly drill through Covid-19! It has been a challenging time for everyone but we are preparing for a gradual reopening and are looking forward to seeing you soon. While many things have changed over the past couple months our commitment to your health and safety remains the same. In fact, we are increasing measures to make sure your visit to our clinic keeps your family and our dental team safe. So when thin...gs get back to ‘normal’ you will notice some changes at our office and we want to ease you into the new routine: 1. We will be asking you screening questions over the phone PRIOR to your arrival. 2. We ask that you arrive for your appointment with your own mask. If you do not have one we will be happy to provide one for you. 3. We ask that you sanitize your hands at the entrance with the sanitizer that is available. 4. We will be closing the washroom temporarily as per Public Health recommendations. 5. We will be taking your temperature using a touchless thermometer before seating you. 6. We will be wearing additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) so you may not recognize us right away. 7. We will be staggering appointment times to minimize close encounters in order to maintain acceptable social distancing. 8. And as always, we will do our best to make your dental visit as comfortable as possible! We value your loyalty and are looking forward to seeing you soon. In an effort to minimize the spread of Covid-19 we would like to inform you that our clinic will be closed for elective dental procedures until the end of the month, as recommended by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Do not be alarmed, we will still remain open during this period from 8am-12pm, Monday-Friday to answer phone calls and schedule emergency care. During this time we would like to encourage everyone to practice good hand hygiene and limit large gatherings. We are confident that by working together as a community and by all doing our part, this situation will soon be a distant memory. Stay safe and take care of each other.
