We are devastated to hear that our friends and neighbours are closing their doors The Old Apothecary started up on Barrington Street and when we were under construction I (JD Shore) would stop in on my way to work for an espresso and a sweet Then they moved just down the street from us. We became addicted to their sourdough bread, cinnamon buns, baguettes, ... they just made 2 birthday cakes for me (yes 2 don’t judge). This is a business that should always be a part of the... city. COVID is killing a lot of dreams Please folks !!! Nova Scotia business’ need your support. Please consider buying your breads from local baker, getting your cheese, olive oils, beer, salami, lunch, dinners from Nova Scotians Local Spirit sales in NS are around 5% That’s 95% going to the big guys We would love to see these #’s flip 95% local and 5% to the big guys Our business buys everything wecan locally Labels, boxes,... We all can truly make a difference!
