An Educators job is not finished after their students leave their space. Hearing from techs all over that they never heard from their educator again, or that they ghosted them after payment is so sad. This is not how education should be done. ... You learn the basics in your classes, then the rest comes with practice and screwing up and having your educator help troubleshoot and keep you moving forward. That is how education needs to be done. That is also why it's a red flag for support if you receive your certificate immediately and don't have to do any "practice" or "model" sets to receive your certificate. This is where the learning really happens. Do you agree? Which did you receive in your training? Continued support, or did you have a dine and dash experience?

Hard Truth. You could take every class available in the entire world, but that still doesn't mean you will be ahead of the gal who's taken one or two courses and has researched, watched video after video and done everything she can to learn and add to her skill and knowledge. If you are not getting ahead, or not growing at the speed you thought you would by now, the hard truth is. ... It's probably you. Whether you have something personally holding you back, you're frustrated and whatever comes is one ear in and out the other, or you think you know everything. A Lash Artists Journey NEVER ENDS. The Industry is constantly evolving and there are so many amazing innovators bringing us new stuff on the daily. With that in mind, please don't hold yourself back by thinking you've got it all figured out. You can ask the ladies who have been doing this the longest, and I guarantee they're still learning daily. And that babe, is why they're still in the game and growing with it. They take in everything they learn with a positive and teach me everything you can attitude. So again, if you're struggling take a deeper look at what's holding you back. The majority of Educators do a fabulous job and teach you everything you need to know to get started so it's most likely not them. We can't blame what's holding us back on everything else. Regardless of our situations and surroundings we all the same chance of making it long term. Don't be too hard on yourself either if you struggle with this, we've all done it. Just some make it through this part of the journey a little quicker then others, but any growth is better then none, whatever the speed, and that is the way to kick ass as a Lash Artist

Ever notice how you're way harder on yourself then on anyone else. "Omg why am I so Slow!!!" "I will never be as good as her." ... "Why do I even bother trying, I'm never going to get it."
