A true Celtic knot in the umbilical cord. At some point this little guy did some circles! Nature has designed the umbilical cord to be thick and rubbery with Wharton’s Jelly to protect the blood flow to baby while in the womb. This guy grew to 9+pounds, full term. Natural beauty and perfection.

About 20 minutes old and already smiling at the world!

Such an important project. My own balancedbirth.com link for my doula business has been blocked by Facebook as it violates community standards. Of course Facebook sends an automatic response to my query, which does nothing to change the fact that my link cannot be shared on Facebook.
