Celebrate Heritage Day, Feb 17 9-5pm Free Admission 2020 honouree is the community of Africville. Explore our feature exhibit, A Walk Through Africville, Feel ...the Comforts of Home. Kids can grab some brushes and paint a picture inspired by the Africville exhibit. Basket maker Clara Gough will show how baskets are woven in the distinctive Black Nova Scotian tradition. Weave a small woven paper craft to take home. Drop-in any time from 10 am to 4 pm. Enjoy a special screening of the documentary, AFRICVILLE: CAN’T STOP NOW at 11 am & 2 pm in our auditorium. The Museum’s hands-on exhibits will be open throughout the day. See more
