Good Monday Morning to All ! We hope you’re enjoying this great Summer weather? Of course, this is the time of year where we can ALL enjoy the benefits of BBQ cuisine almost every day . So we’re naturally happy to share simple tips and a recipe to BBQ your favourites in a delicious and easy new way The best part is you just need 1 kind of BBQ sauce (see image). This recipe is for 1 lb of meat (squid, beef, shrimp, chicken, or pork belly) :... 1 Cup BBQ sauce 2 Tbsp chopped lemongrass 1 Tsp garlic powder 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tsp oyster sauce 1 Tbsp sesame oil 1/2 Tsp pepper 1 Tsp chilli oil (optional) Blend and mix all ingredients together, then add meat and marinate for at least 15 minutes. For you more adventurous taste types, you can enjoy these BBQ meats with Kimchi, Romaine Lectuce, or Seasoned Roasted Seaweed. It’s mmmmm good! Have a great week everyone !

Speaking of making memories, many of you contacted us wanting to know when our signature Asian Cooking lessons will resume. Regrettably , the current necessary social distancing requirements make hosting a lesson in store impractical at this time. Rest assured we plan to restart the lessons... once business conditions have normalized. However, the GOOD news is we’re excited to NOW offer customers the option to host one of our lessons at a Regina ONLY location of their choosing. It could be a house, backyard or other suitable location. Of course, we will adhere to social distancing requirements on the number of attendees allowed in a group. Prices per person vary depending on the menu selection which will include for 2-3 dishes. We would like to share some simple tips for cooking Lobster 1. Lobster in Coconut Water Put lobster in cold water for 2-3 minutes to clean .Then cook in boiling coconut water for about 5 minutes, remember to add 1/2 Tsp of salt in the coconut water by cooking. Enjoy with butter or seafood sauce... 2. Steamed Lobster with Beer After cleaning, soak whole lobster in beer mixed with 1/2 tsp salt for 30 minutes to an hour. Then steam the lobster for 20 minutes by using the beer in place of boiling water for the steamer. 3. BBQ Lobster with Garlic Butter Clean and cut lobster in half. Chop some garlic, melt butter,and add chopped garlic until browned. Add 1 Tbsp lemon juice + 1/4 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp pepper + some cilantro for taste. Put lobster in a big bowl, add the above mixture in + 1 Tbsp lemon juice more. Cook on BBQ at 200F for 15 minutes. 4. Lobster Rice Soup Clean 1 cup of rice and then add into 4 cups of hot water. Bring to a boil on medium heat for 30 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes to prevent burning. Add lobster meat in + 1 Tsp sesame oil + 2 Tbsp chicken powder + 1 tsp fish sauce + 1 tsp thin slice ginger + 1/2 tsp pepper. Taste for flavor. Lastly, add some chopped green onion. 5. BBQ Lobster with Cheese Clean and cut lobster in half. Take out meat, cut into small pieces. Stir fry the shell with butter, chopped garlic and a bin of salt, pepper. Put lobster meat back into shell, add chopped mushrooms, green peas, and add cheese on top. Cook on BBQ at 300F for 15 minutes. You can also make Lobster hot pot or Hongkong style lobster with ginger and green onion that is more involved. We hope you enjoy these great tasting lobster recipes..

The lobsters varied from the smallest being 2 lbs and quite a few being almost 4 lbs ! Our next shipment will come from Nova Scotia and include a variety of freshly FROZEN Canadian seafood delicacies including: 1. Lobster both cooked and uncooked varieties;... 2. Lobster Meat Only - Cooked; 3. Cooked Snow Crab Meat;and 4. Scallops (20-30 per lb) If you’re interested in these products, we expect them in store for sale by Thursday June 25th.
