Today we received our -first - order of reuseable gowns. Safety is our first priority and we’ve had to throw out 100’s of gowns during covid. But we’ve been able to source these reusable gowns to : 1- keep everyone safe 2- minimize waste We want to keep the planet healthy too. What’s this HoT girl been up to? Hmmm, aside from using this time as reflection and introspection... I’ve been tapping into and utilizing some of my creative energy. I have been painting a lot, going for super long scenic walks, re visiting my somewhat dormant culinary skills , making homemade natural skin care, learning about dandelions, participating in Rupi Kaur poetry workshops, doing some dental continuing education, relaxing with online sound baths, finishing the bo...oks I started and stopped reading, taking frequent cat naps, building on my yoga teacher training skills, video calling my nieces & sister 29 times a day and using that same medium to keep in touch with family, grandma and friends. I also have two very ambitious goals that I have not yet achieved - making focaccia bread and to learn how to repot my little plant that is outgrowing his home. Overall, while it has its’ ups and downs - I feel very grateful for this rare gift of time and extremely thankful for everyone who is working so hard to do their part - no matter how big or small See more
