Sooo excited for Dee!
If you need to stay close to Claresholm....
Attention anyone who has been affected by the wildfires in southern Alberta!! The High River Agricultural Society has outdoor pens on the infield that can be used for stock, as well as indoor box stalls, 10 heated, 24 not. There is NO water to these pens or stalls at this time (lines are blown out for winter), but we will do our best to make water available if/when needed. Call Roy at (403)498-5499 or Corine at (403)498-5213 to let them know you are coming, so we can prepare... for you. Stay safe everyone!! PS-anyone needing a place to camp/park is welcome to make use of our grounds, as well.
A reminder to anyone who rides on the track or the out door arena, the rules apply the same as the indoor arena. Must be a member, must scan your card in the indoor arena. Pre book your time slot. Unless you purchase a riding pass, it’s $10 per horse. The Ag society doesn’t survive in love alone.

A membership is not a riding pass!!! Members without riding passes must pay $10/ horse unless you are renting the arena!!!!
A friendly reminder to not enter the building before your scheduled time and leave before the end of your scheduled time slot. Thank you for your cooperation during these difficult times
We are so very proud of our community for pitching in to help people who are struggling. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Let’s make it an annual thing and see if we can raise the bar each year! Thank you for helping us make Christmas a little more merry for our local families.
Howdy folks! Just a little friendly reminder to our renters and user groups. Please take a moment to pick up behind your animals, whether they have 2 legs or 4, indoors and outdoors. There are carts and forks available for the horsey contributions, and plenty of garbage and recycle bins for the human components. If the receptacles require attention, please let our staff know. In order for HRAS to try to maintain current rental costs, we need everyone to do their share.... The rental contract does state that you are responsible for cleaning up. HRAS does not want to have to implement a cleaning fee, or increase the rental fees to cover the cost of picking up after people and ponies. Thank you so very much to our user groups who do go above and beyond, to erase all trace of groups before them, who didn’t do their doodie duty. You know who you are and we really do appreciate you.

Pictures and full results will be posted in the next few days. Keep your eyes peeled. Happy Halloween to all our little ghouls and goblins! Thanks so much for such a great turnout and your patience as we worked through the reality of running an indoor event for the first time. Can’t wait to do it all again! ... A HUGE thank you to our volunteers and sponsors. Without you, these events just aren’t possible.
Please note!! Times are tentative. We may be ahead or behind schedule, depending on how things flow and number of entries. Be sure to be here in time for your event.
