Architectural Technology ...students Mariana Duarte and her partner James Lee took designed 'Breezeway House,' which focuses on passive ventilation, sunlight and water recycling. It was really intense but super gratifying," said Duarte. The project opened my mind, and I am now more attune to the way we’re building our cities." Meet Tatiana, a Humber alumni who, despite having a successful career in the marketing industry in Colombia, decided to come to Canada and pursue a two-year diploma in the Advertising and Marketing Communications program. As a recent grad, Tatiana landed a job in one of Canada’s largest retailers. See the full story below. "Before coming to Canada, I worked in communications and marketing for ten years in Colombia. I built a successful career, but I felt some gaps in my digit...al marketing skills. Humber’s program was the right fit for me. It helped me improve my skills especially in social media, copywriting, and media planning. I polished my skills working a part-time job at Humber and during my social media marketing internship. I am now working as a Junior Communications Specialist at Loblaws, Canada’s largest retailer. I am amazed by this opportunity with lots of learning and growing opportunities, and I’ll take full advantage of it."
